Class of 2008

After enduring 13 years of school four of which have been at Langley High School. I am proud and exstatic to say that I have officially graduated from high school! I have been waiting for this day for a long time and getting to this point was not easy at all. I’ve spent 4 years of my educational career at one of the hardest high schools in the nation. Newsweek has ranked Langley High School in the Top 50 for the four years I have attended. It feels great to graduate from such a promonent school that has such a rich diversity of people and cultures. Even though I didn’t enjoy some of my four years, I must say that I appreciate everything that Langley has given me and how well they have prepared me for college.

Attending graduation at Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C. was also another great honor. Walking into Constitution Hall in my cap and gound made the hair on the back of my neck stand up and gave me goose bumps all over. When it was time for me to walk acorss the stage and get my diploma, I was suprisingly not as nervous as I expected to be. The feeling after getting my diploma and when our principal annouced us as graduates was amazing. I threw my cap and with it went all my past problems I had throughout my time in high school. Last but not least at the All Nigh Grad Party held at Langley that night, I must say it was one of the best times I have had at Langley. Not to mention the $250 I won along with a gift certificate for $25…. you gotta love Langley.
